Ahman Green

For any Nebraskan, Ahman Green is cemented into the lore of the “glory days.” He helped the Huskers to two National Championships in 1995 and 1997. In 1995, Green set the record for freshman rushing yards and earned all-American, all-conference, and Freshman-of-the-Year honors. Despite only playing 3 years, Green finished 2nd in rushing yards and touchdowns in the school’s history. 206 of those yards came in the 1997 Championship game, breaking a 20-year record for most rushing yards in the Orange Bowl.

Green went on to have a very successful NFL career, spending 8 seasons with the Green Bay Packers. He was immensely productive, breaking various franchise records enroute to numerous 10-win seasons.

Since retiring from playing, Green has become extremely active in the world of eSports. At Lakeland University in Wisconsin, he has coached players to multiple playoff appearances and even a National Championship in Madden 21. As an Instructor at the University of Nebraska, Green teaches students the fundamentals of esports, covering topics such as player development and business management.
